The Flavian Dynasty

Ruling from 69 to 96 CE, the Flavian dynasty consisted of Vespasian, Titus and Domitian.

The Colosseum began construction under Vespasian and was completed under Titus. Mount Vesuvius also erupted under the reign of Titus in 79 CE destroying the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
